AAHS is not an emergency shelter, and cannot house homeless individuals, unaccompanied minors, or adult males. If you are in need of emergency shelter, please call 2-1-1 or 706.353.1313 to speak to a referral specialist. AAHS manages a shelter called Almost Home for women and their dependent children. AAHS has six family rooms and can shelter up to 24 individuals. Our transitional housing program is for mothers with dependent children. If you or someone you know is homeless and fits this criteria please call the shelter to be added to our wait list or connected with other agencies in the community.
