Its mission:Is to create an environment that empowers women in crisis to achieve positive, long-term change. Beacon of Life is the only shelter in Central Iowa that provides transitional housing with supportive services in a structured environment exclusively to women. They provide a safe and secure home and services that offer both anonymity and a sense of belonging, allowing their residents to overcome addictions, trauma and personal struggles through financial, health and wellness, employment and recovery programs.

Fees: First night free, $10.00 per night thereafter
