Carlsbad Transitional Housing partners with the United Way, several local churches, and Carlsbad Mental Health to provide safe, supervised, and quality housing for families in transition from homelessness to stable independence.Office Hours: Mon - Fri 9am - 11am
Mission Statement: Our mission is to promote the welfare of our community by providing families with marginal incomes with a chance at renewed life through safe, decent and sanitary affordable housing and guidance. Currently, CTHHS owns and operates 3 single-family transitional houses. Resident families typically stay 8-12 months while working on goals and gaining financial stability. Since 1999, we have housed more than 30 families. Although the vision of a homeless shelter is yet to be realized, we continue to work toward acquiring property and resources for a short-term emergency shelter and community resource center.
