Community Action Agency offers a Transitional Housing Program which provides a place to help with the transition from emergency shelter living to permanent housing. This service provides temporary homes for income eligible families who are homeless. A Housing Coordinator works with families to achieve long term housing solutions, offers support to families, and oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the housing units. Families will also receive ongoing case management and support services as they make the transition into permanent housing. Applicants must be homeless and meet poverty guidelines. Please contact them directly to obtain more information or to schedule an appointment. Their office is available Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm to assist you.

Mission Statement: Mobile Community Action strives to empower the low income population to achieve maximum potential through the provision of advocacy, education, training, employment, and emergency support services.

Seeking housing for. daughter 49, recovering from brain tumor with physical disabilities: ataxia, hearing loss, uses rollator. She has lost her home to bankruptcy. We would like to see her in an independent living situation where she will have contact with other residents, social activities, and transportation to grocery store, doctor's appointments, PT. OT appointments. Any information that would be suitable will be much appreciated. Thank you. Geraldine Carnevale 990-2345
