Programs managed by Crossroads include:Program for young children help low-income children prepare for school; Family Development Self Sufficiency program works with families to overcome barriers; Low Income Home Energy Assistance program helps people pay some of their heating costs in winter; Emergency services provide food and assistance in making rent or mortgage payments.The general assistance program on behalf of the Supervisory Board; The Senior Community Service Employment programe provides vocational training assistance for people over the age of 55; The children's and adult food assistance program provides meal reimbursements and food education to registered childcare providers; Transitional Housing provides a safe place for individuals and families to live while working with a family specialist to get long-term sustainable housing.
