Firehouse Shelter is a Transitional Housing Program Goal is to transition from emergency shelter to permanent housing. Provides workplace transportation. Participants must meet weekly with Case Manager to monitor housing and other needs. Supervision 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Participants can stay up to 24 months.
Mission Statement: The mission of the Cooperative Downtown Ministries, Inc. (the corporation) is to provide to homeless men, ages 18 and older, in the Birmingham Area a nurturing and caring environment offering supportive services that break the cycle of homelessness and empower individuals to achieve their highest potential.
