LIFT seeks to assist homeless families with dependent children or those at imminent risk of becoming homeless due to an impending eviction. Provides intensive case management, life-skills training, and housing for a period of 18-24 months. Eligibility: Madison County resident homeless or about to become homelessat least one person employed with verifiable income ability to pass a criminal background check the desire to become self-sufficient by programs endServices transitional housing and shelter.Overview: Non-profit agency providing comprehensive, prevention-based family support programs and professional counseling to residents of North Alabama and South Central Tennessee. Site hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
