Homeward Bound is recognized as Arizona's largest provider of transitional housing for families who are homeless, working poor and or have experienced domestic violence. Homeward Bound breaks multi-generational cycles of homelessness, welfare dependence and domestic violence and creates self-reliance through housing and compassionate client-centered services. Homeward Bound assists families with a hand up, not a handout. Each family participating in the program must contribute 30 percent of their adjusted gross income for housing, utilities and support services.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to create pathways out of poverty for homeless families ready to make a change.

I have a young mother age 20 in need of emergency housing. She is currently 8 months pregnant and is homeless and in need of a place before she have her baby. We went to UMOM a few weeks ago and the sent us over to Maggie’s place. We was under the impression that she would be placed at one of the placement through Maggie’s place but they declined her saying they didn’t have the proper staff in place to handle this young ladies needs. She is a victim of sex trafficking and is trying to get her life in order before the baby arrives. She is willing to do what she needs to do to become stable so that she can take care of her child. She works part time overnight at fry’s . I am helping her to find resources that can help her through Ceces Hope center.

In need of temporary housing for my boyfriend and I, it's very expensive to try to pay for hotel rooms every night and isn't possible for us to be able to do.
