Mckinney Cooperative Shelter for 19 men, 6 women. Transitional housing for 12 men, 4 women. Hours: 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM, preference to Newport county residents
I was at the shelter through the last few days and I was thankfull and I told the staff thank you many times. But somehow every thing I did was wrong in thier eyes and I feel like I have to leave or they will find a 'reason' to do something to cause me trouble or stop me from competing for their jobs. It was edifieing to spend these few days to witness the utter disregard for the golden rule demonstrated by certain members of staff as well as changing the rules to suit their whims.If the pneumonia I feel doesn't debilitate me I plan to report everything I saw to the proper authorities.
