I would like to get more info, monthly cost and what that covers, and availability for my 22 year old son. We are trying to transition him from CA. He is bipolar, high functioning as long as he is on his medication and sober. Our goal is to transition him in 2-3 months, open to sooner if we find the right home, to Austin and into sober living until he is able to work, hopefully start attending junior college and by the grace of God get stable enough to have his own place. Our tentative goal is to move him by the holidays so I can help get him packed, fly with him, and make sure he is settled before heading back to my home in Dallas. As a point of reference, What do you charge for rent? I’m trying to get a budget together for the move so we can plan accordingly. And, I don’t want to waste anyones time or energy if the budget is a non starter. And, any reference to financial assistance programs for mental health disability would be greatly appreciated.
