Newly Empowered Women is the only facility in South Texas serving women of color who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Provide transitional housing, clothing, food, transportation, substance abuse counseling and education and referral counseling. Eligibility:For women who are in transition from homelessness, struggling with drug addiction or coming home from prison with the desire to live healthy, clean and sober lives.
