Mission Statement: The People Concern is one of Los Angeles County’s largest nonprofit social service agencies. We strive to end homelessness by providing care and support for those experiencing it, through outreach, housing, mental and medical health care, substance use services, domestic violence services, life skills & wellness programs and income assistance. Since 1963, we have been the leaders in our field. Our staff, volunteers and those we serve all work together to address the effects of homelessness, poverty, mental and physical illness, abuse and addiction. We work to educate the broader community about these issues and improve public policy. The People Concern is a family – one dedicated to a community where everyone, regardless of the struggles they are overcoming, is housed, healthy and safe.

Hello. I understand you have a toiletry donation program and I have toiletries to donate. Can I bring them tomorrow (Saturday 1/18/2020) to OPCC? I am not sure where to go.

I have been living with my family a couple blocks away , on 19th, for the last 4 years. I am getting evicted with two small children. My wife works full time at McDonalds , but we can't pay the $4400. in rent and our credit isn't good enough to rent a cheaper place. My Bladder is failing and I need an operation as well I am suffering from depression. Please help me keep a roof over my kids . They are both in Santa Monica Public school.
