Optimist Youth Homes & Family Services provides innovative and individualized treatment, education, and support services to children, young adults, and families to better their lives.Optimist Youth Homes & Family Services, a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is one of the largest short-term residential treatment programs serving high-risk youth in California.Optimist provides residential treatment; extensive individual, group and family therapy; special education; recreation and athletic activities; health care programs; participation in community activities, vocational and emancipation training; cultural arts; case management, substance abuse treatment, mentoring, family finding, anger management and ancillary therapy programs (art, music, movement, and recreation) for 500 children and families each day.
