The Transitional Housing program of San Diego Rescue Mission holistically addresses the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of clients; with an emphasis on trauma history and its barriers to independence. They help clients focus on healing and gaining independent living skills that will set them up to be successful. Transitional Housing serves Single Women, Single Men and Women with Children. Clients reside in dormitory style living Women with Children Family Rooms are for individual families. All who meet the criteria below are welcome to apply either through a referral from another community organization or on a walk-in basis. This housing arrangement is also an excellent step down from their recovery programs, and a great answer to those in their emergency shelter who are working, but are not earning enough to support themselves.


Mission Statement: To lovingly address the needs of men, women and children experiencing homelessness by sharing the Good News of Salvation and providing a holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery.
