Second Step Housing offers safe homes paired with the training and structure needed for success. Second Step Housing began in 1996 under the name YW Housing, and since then continued to grow to meet the needs of the community. Today eleven houses, 37 permanent units, and education resources serve over 400 individuals yearly They offer A safe place to live while putting your life back together Low monthly rentsCase management, which includes: Help with accessing needed services Assistance with setting personal goals such as gaining education job training, finding permanent housing and attaining financial independence and stability Group living environmentswhich include: Clean and sober living Shared living spaces and chores Regular house meetings Group education meetings twice per month to learn various skills Additional support which includes: Nurturing Parent parenting classes Tenant Education of Clark County replaces Ready to Rent how to be a great renter Women Helping Women-woman-to-woman mentoring program HOPE Program job specialist assistance

What is the process and requirements or qualifications for someone to stay here? Do you accept people on parole. Do you take women and men?

I heard you help people who want to move to their home and not be homeless I need one I'm a disabled person 42 years old have no family only a puppy had brain surgery last week I collect SSI and I will be homeless in a week. I need help my parents are kicking me out after I have always paid rent I need help I know I have rights even though I'm disable some one help me
