They also help women and their children find long-term housing. Eligibility requirements include: residency  of Arkansas. women ages 18 and older and their children (males cannot be older than 16). Please contact them for more information on eligibility and intake procedures. WCF is a comprehensive shelter serving over 500 victims of domestic violence and their children annually. The shelter is ran strictly on federal and state funds, private donations, fundraisers, grants, and the Heart of Arkansas United Way. They are fortunate to have a very active Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and young professionals board - The Peacekeepers. The clients who seek safe refuge with WCF are able to do so only with the tremendous assistance from their Board of Directors, unbelievable community volunteers and sponsors, and a small staff who works directly with the clients every day.

Mission Statement: Safety, strength, and hope for all victims of family violence.
