Gateway Assessment Center is the first step in getting into "Ada's Place" emergency housing for homeless families.  Families on the waiting list receive weekly case management and some support services. Once housed at 'Ada's Place',  participants are allowed to stay for up to 50 days and  receive case management services to assist in securing stable, long-term housing. Gateway Assessment Center may provide emergency, short-term shelter. Contact the Salvation Army or YWCA during weekday business hours or the Missoula Police Department or Poverello Center afterhours, holidays and weekends. If participants don't comply during waiting period, must reapply and start waiting period over. Fees may apply. Contact Gateway Assessment Center for more information.

Mission Statement: YWCA Missoula is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

Haven't used transitional housing resources, I hope I can since I have not been in trouble or incarcerated? Really just need help getting on my feet, working a program, and healing and restoring myself and life from wrong done to myself and my kids in the past. This sounds like asb excellent and needed resource, hope to be able to say more someday.
